Thanks freaky for the offer. But I reckon TM Bill is right it looks too big for the 125. I like the price too so if you got a basket for the 125 i will happily pay 20 bucks for it. Cheers.

Nipper did you get a basket ?
-
Yes thanks Bill I have been fortunate enough to get a basket from here on the forum, D project was the man I can thank for that. I did get a basket locally here in south australia but when i went to fit the basket it had 63 teeth instead of 62 so it was a no go.

Would the A basket work/fit the B? They both run 17t primary's, I would think that the distance between shafts would be the same, I guess the smaller (less teeth) B basket would raise the overall gearing yeh? Make use of the longer stroke B & C engines.

B motor compared to an A motor is a slug ;) B is more rideble for wobblers but if you want to be on the gas get a A motor :)
-
Aaah so I am rebuilding the right motor then Bill....
-
Ha ha, just raise the exhaust port 1mm and trim the piston skirt 2mm on the B model and you'll get the top end you so desire :-)

Cheers John that is some food for thought.
