That will buff out Geoff :)
-
RM125S? That pipe looks familiar...
-
I don't see the problem. Two Fosters cans and some bailing wire and she's as good as new. ;D
-
RM125S?
Nup
Guess again

c'mon Geoff - miracles you can do now - it's the impossible that takes a little longer.

c'mon Geoff - miracles you can do
Sorry, I sold my last one yesterday
-
True, no tiny muffler welded on... I should have spotted that! OK, I give up then :)
Still, it's mostly all there, dunno what the fuss is all about!
-
A bit of paint to spruce it up maybe?
-
I suppose it is too far gone for a good rust converter to help? :P ;D

For all those that dont know I put up a post a while ago hanging shit on GMC's sidies (ala Elvis) I was put up to it by Stan S who then by his lack of contribution to the post left me out to dry. After confessing all to Elvis (sorry I mean Geoff!) he chuckled and said "Revenge is a dish best served cold!) The pipe belongs to me and it's for my Jim Pomeroy Replica that I'm trying to get ready for CD9 or 10 and if GMC could tear himself away from this forum he may have it ready for me this Friday. Oh did I mention I have to get a take away Soy Capuchino no sugar in order to get him to fire up at 0900. Interestingly Stan S has missed out on ant flack thus far! Cheers Jerry

Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk

Hey, triple hang on! My mufflers been in the queue (probably the far queue now :P) since the last ice age! All of these queue jumpers......(I used 'queue' a couple of times coz I'm happy to be able to spell it). Jerry, take your place.

Shoulda kept your head down Geoff.

Hows the "works " airboxes for the RM250/370's coming along?....remember YOU said they'd be right by CD9....on a brighter note, one of my mates just bought one of those trick OSSA trails bikes (2012 model....13's arriving soon) for...wait for it....$7700 del to Brisbane....jeezus Geoff...get your bum over to Canberra and get one before they run out...I'm sure Julia will have some scam for you too claim it...go on...you know you need one.

Hey Davey, who's selling the Ossas?
-
RM125S?
Nup
Guess again
Bultaco of some description
-
The importer is in Canberra...bargin of the year if you ask me....has 4 left...get in quick.
-
You are a legend Geoff,
in this current economic climate larger jobs are hard to find yet you have just scored yourself minimum 3 months worth of work on 1 pipe alone ;D keep em coming i say.
-
The OSSA importer Don Murray is based in Canberra and the business is called Moto Central. They also have an on-line shop called Trialzone
email address is [email protected]

That is what JB Weld is good for ;)
Herr Stolk, you should know that JB Weld is not recommended for temps higher than 500f.
Clearly this pipe is for a very hot bike.

Shoulda kept your head down Geoff.
So it seems
The scoundrel managed to turn the tables back on me
For those that don't know; Standard GMC policy is that all shit stirrers go to the back of the queue ;D
At least this one went out in todays mail...
Hang on , hang on GMC . There is another customer from SA in line first , I believe. Before you get bogged down on this classic Restoration ;D How is that YZ pipe coming along ? Got the ceramic coaters lined up already , still debating on the colors . What would look trick ? Black ,Gold or Silver ? The bike is yellow.
Hmmm
Gold would be different but maybe a bit tacky
Silver might be okay so long as it comes out silver and not grey.
Can they do clear?

Did I say CD 9 or 10?
You might need to advance me a deposit on an airbox so I can pick me up one of them Ossa’s
-
It was definately 9...you bloody Vic's keep getting your dates mixed up all the time....I guess when you have 12 months of winter every year you loose track....maybe you should pick up 2 of those OSSA's, one for me for being such a great loyal customer....it would do wonders for your business...sort of like a fly-buys reward system....I dont mind being the first recipiant...really...as far as Jerry Lee Lewis's pipe goes....get your mate Dave A onto it...aparantely he has a knack for finding rare as rocking horse poo type stuff....have you still got my address to send the OSSA too?...or will you deliver it in person?...we have had a 32 day dry spell up here and I know every time you come to QLD it rains....could do with some rain.

Apart from the obvious attractions of living down here in Mexico like stable reasonably corruption free government, weather, proper football, Phillip Island GP circuit, Worlds most livable city (2nd year running!) the MCG and culture the best part without a doubt is being within an hour and a bit from the mighty GMC facility which is in itself a stones throw from the wonderful Broadford State Motorcycle complex. You lot could do worse than apply for a visa to visit. Cheers Jerry PS Stanley are you bringing the mighty TC nine zero to CD9?
-
;D argh, Victorians....the eternal optimists.

I was cleaning down the back of the couch when I found a slightly used leftover miracle.
It was enough to sort out Jerry’s cosmetic shortcomings
Jerry gives it the thumbs up, however his thumb was busy holding the pipe so he used a finger instead.
I believe it is the same finger he uses to greet interstaters at CD events.
He can be quite bold with his greetings knowing that if things go pear shaped his mate Stan will always be there to back him up ;D
