Title: steel clutch basket or alloy for 77 250gs6

Would like to change my clutch basket on my 77 250gs6 it is one piece steel unit which has to much gear backlash what should it be replaced with .Do later alloy riveted ones fit or are there tricks to be aware off?ELC hunter.

 No thay wont fit ..

 anyway how much back lash have ya got...
