I am pleased to announce we will be holding our second event this year on the 13th and 14th October.
For all the event details go to the VINDURO website: http://www.vinduro.com.au/2012/2012-cookardinia-vinduro/

I'm proud to announce our official sponsor for the 2012 Cookardinia VINDURO is
AUSTRALASIAN DIRT BIKE MAGAZINE
It's great to get some support from such a well respected and long standing dirt bike publication!
The heritage of ADB fits perfectly with the VINDURO concept and we are very excited to have them on board with this event.
They will be providing a special ADB Award which will include a 12 month subscription to ADB magazine.
To win this award you are going to have to be dedicated, you are going to have to go all out, you are going to have to get involved!
Here's to ADB for their support and here's to a great 2012 Cookardinia VINDURO!
Cheers all.

Wow :o. Well done to the organisers, what a great opportunity to get some coverage for this developing side of the vintage scene! I assume there would be pics and a bit of a write up in an upcoming issue? Well done to the people involved.

I have been waitng for this . Every one that a have spoked to who went all said it was a hole lot of fun
and was well done .
. So I will be coming and 4 mates ..
-
I like your enthusiasm oz555ktm, hope you and your mates can make it. Without sounding stupid I'm guessing you're a KTM man which is good because I love old KTM's, would love to own one and we didn't have any last year. We had a few old Huskies, a Truimph Trophy and an AJS last year so the older the better.
The terrain is pretty user friendly and would be on parr with the Rockley Vinduro course. A good mix of challenging tight stuff and good spread of open area with a few extra bits thrown in.
Get your entry to me pronto and I'll see you all there.
-
Just filling in my Entry for Cookadiner Can I pay by Cheque ..
-
I would prefer bank transfer but if you can't, then a cheque can me made out to MR ADAM L BROOKS and send it in with your entry to me.
Thanks hope to see you there.

How far north of Albury is it? Time wise. J
-
Going off Google 59mins. That's pretty close for a Vinduro. Here's the link.

I know it's not desirable and makes organizing a bit more difficult but I reckon publicizing being allowed to enter on an event days will always lead to more entrants showing up. Pain in the arse I know but that's just the unfortunate reality, this year we got around 100 riders to the castella vinduro and it was 37 degrees! Tex may be able to quantify how many pre entries were received but i wouldn't mind betting it was prob only half, or less!
-
Good point there Rookie. The main reason for pre entry is so that we can book the rec licences. Sometimes it's hard to judge what the numbers will be. You will always get a few stragglers on the day.

Entry received. Thanks oz555ktm, will be good to add some Austrian machinery to the mix.
-
Funds transferred and emailed entry today...see ya's there. ;D ;D
Cheers,
Chris.

A big thanks to all those who have entered and supported this event, only a couple of weeks out and things are looking really good for a big event. I'm also pleased to see the amount of entries from NSW, and some new entrants this year. So far there is a wide array of bikes from Huskies to KTM's and a few XR's and IT's. Keep the entries coming.
Cheers Brookise.

At this stage we have nearly reached last years figure which is awesome but there are quite a few riders from last year(mainly Victorians) who have not entered. ???
If you know someone who is thinking of going tell them to get their entry in now over the weekend.
Cheers Brooksie.
