Title: 78 / 79 CR 250 forks

I have a 78 /79 CR 250 currently fitted with Simons forks , the Simons are coming off for another (probably never to be finished project  ::) ) so i need to fit somthing in their place .

I have a set of std forks for the bike but thet are as skinny as Nicole Ritche , is there somthing else thats better i can bolt in without too much drama ???

The std forks are 37mm and aren't much good, you could use a 43mm cr480 front end or you could bore the clamps to 38mm and use 82/83 cr125 forks but neither forks are evo legal in Oz.
Or you could bore the clamps and fit 38mm 79/80 YZ forks and front wheel..
