Title: 82 CR480 cases, bottom end or motor

Looking to build a spare motor for my CR480. Its a 83 model with a 82 4 speed motor.
My current cases have needed some repair, and I'm looking for some more. I think
there are differences between the 82 4speed and 83 5 speed cases.

 Externally the cases are the same and from what I understand, the internals are interchangeable. I have seen 82 480's advertised in the US with 5 speed conversions. But don't take it as Gospel!!
