Well folks, it’s on, get your backside trackside. Time to come and have a ride of what could well be the home of the Pre85 Club. The decision belongs to you as club members.
You will note we are open to all classes, pre 75, pre 85, novices, over 55 and many more, this track suits them, and if taken on by the club will be lengthened and improved next year. Bring your mates along, let them have a ride of your bike, make them feel jealous of what you have.
There will be a Club Meeting held at lunch time, this is another good reason to come down, even just for a look, trust me you will be surprised. Let us know what you think!
There will be a busy bee on the Saturday, commencing about 1pm, though earlier for some of us. To get the track into a condition for the event. A great excuse to have a chat and beer in the extensive undercover area with roaring fire, now that’ll make the wife happy.

I'll drag my mate Marc there with a couple of DR250's and maybe my 84 KX125 as well (if the shock comes back in time) should be fun ;D

My last blast was Xmas 2010, was planning to do next pre85 club round at noble falls but the informal nature of a "come and try" day is more appealling.
-
we're trying to make this track our home for next season. So much potential there, as you will see

For all you guys thinking about it. Just remember we take everything from pre60 to pre 90 and all in between including sidecars. So if you haven't got your beast sorted for Wandering, you are more than welcome at Darkan to sort it out.

What a fantastic day..this group of people are a whole new thing..Not like pre75 the forever nostalgic lot,or the modern mx mums and dads hooked on there own kids adrenlin.
But these guys that are in the laps of waiting for the kids to ride and wives to be happier.(35 year olds ;D)
The turn out was well supported and the bikes are even better.
Good racing with groups of two and three joisting for positions on the tight circuit track.
Dust was put to rest with the local fire outfit and racing stayed smooth all day.
Really was a credit to all involved..
Gotta go help wash the two Zooks..hope you Sunday turned out as good as ours. 8)
cheers MB Racing

It was a great weekend highlighted by the great saturday night. The way that every one hooked in and assisted to put the event on, was a credit to great team work and not great ego's. The great riding. The appearance of Rossco fatboy slim Campbell, unvieling his new clothing line "thongs to wear while riding motocross"
Of course the big result for us all was the club, heading forward and now arranging to take over the lease of the track, can only go up from here. We now have a home track!!!!!

Same type of event/format at the same place?
-
looking at the format and doing something totally different a Come try (recreational permit) and a Competitve permit on the same day so you can ride or race, up to you, but don't quote me yet
-
eh CG you see the photo's and race report, should get a new van (sorry couldn't help myself) was a brilliant day with those that ride all having a great day. Saturday night was brilliant also.

Nothing wrong with the van it was contaminated fuel, it was syphoned out and fresh stuff from a different servo put in and now it runs fine.
