Post by: Hyfen69 on July 25, 2012, 01:01:26 pm
Hi guys,
Need a set of rear shocks for a 73 TS Suzuki (mx) as the ones currently on the bike are incorrect, can anyone advise the correct shock measuremnts i.e. centre pin to pin? please...Or even better does anyone have a good set they would like to sell?
Cheers

There may be some generic shocks to suit. Do you have the shock length - measured centre to centre of the mount holes with no load on the shocks?

The current ones fitted are not from this model bike (they are too tall @ 360mm), however I was informed they should be 330-340mm eye to eye? Thanks

I'll measure mine tomorrow but I use TS185ER shocks on my TS125R and TM125's. They seem to work just fine. Normally due to the inner plastic shrouds and use of these bikes mainly as commuters used shocks survive quite well.
