We implemented a new class for Mitchell ride days at Broadford yesterday, we split the Seniors session into 'novice / slow / old timers' and 'faster racer dudes'. It went off so well that we will keep with it from now on; classes for the day on the main mx track will be ...
Group 1 - Juniors (under 16) 15 min
Group 2 - novice/slow/old timers 15 min
Group 3 - Faster racer type dudes 15 min
Faster racer dudes will NOT be allowed in Group 2. You pick the group you want to ride at the start of the day, your colour wrist-band will only let you out in that group; if you get faster or slower during the day you can get your wrist-band changed.
The above three classes will constitute 'one round', riders are expected to supply a flag marshall for one round each (or do it themselves), 45 min. Riding sessions start at 9.30am and run until no wants to ride anymore or 4.00pm which ever comes first :-)
Our next ride day is Sunday August 5 BE THERE !!!

Fantastic initiative to encourage less confident or beginner folks to attend, these are the sort of things that help evolve a sport. Not some of the discouraging, grandstanding attitudes occasionally seen. Keep up the great work :)
