Hello Gents, I am finally going to thin the heard a bit an offer up a couple bikes I thought I'd never sell but other interests keep me from getting them on the track where they should be.
I am not sure how to put pics on here so I will type away and if anyone knows or wants some pics emailed I can do that.
First is a 1982 SWM RS440MC. This is the one with the trick aluminum swingarm and has swm embossed on it like the swm's did on all the rubber bits. It's a great shape original. Never been restored. Has my new orange plastic on it and a new first over piston. Runs super on the original bing carb. $4995 takes it. I will help however I can to make it easy on you if you arrange a carrier to pick up from Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Second, a 1978 Sachs GP Willie Bauer Special. These were generally a 5 speed but this is a super rare 6 speed model. My sachs experts in canada and germany have never seen one but this does have 6a right on the tranny. Beautiful blue with white fenders. It has GS lighting on it now so you could use it for that or MX. Another great shape original. The orignal blue front faulk comes with it but the original rear is long gone.
I can give more details for those that are really serious about acquiring. Let me know if you have any interest. My email is [email protected]

Put some photos up and we may understand you better, if we could view what you are selling. ???

Like I said in the last post. I don't see where the icon/link or whatever it is to post pics. Any help would be appreciated.

The sachs is $5995, sorry missed that.

You can buy spares at any local milk bar! J

O'll Shutzhey will have a permanent hard on at the moment.. ;D....both very cool bikes.

Great stuff....these things are rarely if ever seen on the market. If I was a decade younger and 10k richer I'd be in like Flynn. ;D

Well actually Jerry the parts supply is pretty good for both marques (I know) and quality lasts! ;D Good luck buying many essential parts for older Jap brands :P
-
I stand corrected Canan my ignorance knows no bounds! Having said that thats why I have Bultacos. Never have any problems chasing parts except for a set of Telesco shocks. Luckily Firko came to the rescue. Cheers Jerry

It is true you can get spares, motor, plastic parts for the swm easily. Finding one of these bikes is the hard part. Sachs has a good supply of motor parts as well to rebuild. Maintaining is not tough because of the parts availability so you can ride these and compete. Just finding these bikes is the rare part.

I stand even more corrected! J

Yes the 440 is sold. Still got that real nice Sachs 250 for sale. Any offers?
-
Still have the Sachs 250. I have an idea what it costs to get a bike to you guys so I will lower my price to $4950 and see if that offers any motivation. Thanks for the space!
