How nice is this. I've always wanted one. Don't know the current value of CZ's but it would be hard to find one like this. Just close your eyes and sign the czechk.

Nice and looks original inc the tyres :) not sure about the man bag or the 2nd clutch lever ??? IMHO its priced at about double what its worth in the current market .
-
I agree Bill....but all of there bikes are exy....but they are a business trying to make a living and having to pay GST etc.
-
Not a 74 like they state either. Nice bike though 8)

Yeh Tony
Long way from a std CZ
Alloy rims
Mikuni carby
Single plug coil
As found maybe not a CZ in factory showroom cond :o
-
Those alloy rims are probably standard for the states, still has twin plug ignition
I noticed it's got a pipe guard underneath & second lever is for a decompresser
Looks like there were some well thought out mods done by the original owner
-
Looks to me started life as a Black Frame 73 mustard tank model Zed :-\
-
Definitely a 73,black frame and flat swingarm but the blue tank was standard that year I think.Red for the 250.You never know they might jag a buyer.there have been some great race ready CZ bargains on Mark's swapmeet lately.

Can you send a few buyers my way at $8000 a unit
Then I can buy more VMX treasure ;D

Thinking the same, means we got a hellava lot of well off club members :P

I can't see anything special about that CZ that would warrant the 8k price tag. The wheels and hubs need some desperate work for starters. To make it a legitimate 4k bike you'd have to spend another grand on it. These people obviously need to make a profit but it's pretty obvious that they haven't much of an understanding of the market. A mate is selling a '74 CZ250 for 3k that's a much better starter project than this CZ ;).

Yeah nice to see original old bikes but in todays market probably $3,500 and when it does not sell the price will slowly be realised=a bike is woth what some one will pay for it
-
wish them luck with the sale... makes my 360 side pipe worth alot more than i thought.......greg has better bikes coming sone...
;D

I would say he's waiting for that one cashed up nostalgia tripper who would pay for it to hang in his bar. But for that money you'd want it still sitting in the crate it came in.
There's always two prices. One for those, like yourselves who are inside the VMX loop and one for those outside of it who are unaware for what things go for. I was talking to Dwayne one day and he said a lot of his customers are blokes who come in and say they had one as a kid or always wanted one and buy the bike to put in their bar or entertainment room.
Those blokes are not in the VMX scene and wont ride the bike but it will look good parked next to their $20,000 entertainment system.
