To all you electronics wizards, what would be the cdi of choice to put on a suzuki t250 1967 on, would it be possible to use any of the suzuki's PEI Units? cheers

Most of the racing Suzuki twins t2o/t250 in Aussie run the KX80 kit made up by
Bert at Small coil rewind in Geelong
My racing T250 run KX80 stator and Flywheel and Berts own CDI box running to a LC Yamaha coil worked very well with a low starting Revs easy to push start . Sum of the Euro kits have a high revs to kick into life which means a set of starter rollers or a big hill ;D
Think Bert does these for most racing twin 2 strokes
Keep in mind no charging system

Move into the 21st century and get a Ignitech running total loss off a 400g 12v LiPo. Fully programmable with more features than you will ever use. Use any single or twin lobe rotor with 2 $20 pickups and away you go.All at a price that would make old Berts hair fall out

;D thanks everyone ;) so this exercise did turn out to be pointless boom boom :D
for the bike that is, i say this will be the first time out playing with such electrickery, so would it be ok to source your knowledge in the future for the correct purchases and the fitting of 21st century spark makeing device :-\

have been to ignitech site, wow :o its well worth a look, me thinks even a dum arse like me will hava go, they seem to be able to supply everything yep even blow by blow fitting instruction on cd :D

Takes me about an hour to get one running from scratch, then a few hours on the dyno to dial it in. Need a P2 sparker and 2 coils from Steve at Twostroke shop, 2 pick ups and a single lobe rotor(running 180 deg firing with 2 coils)and make a plate to hold the pick ups, or 1 pick up and 2 lobe rotor(180 deg apart) and a twin shot coil
pick ups $12
single coil $17
Twin coil $35
P2 Sparker(ask Steve not sure think around $250 they are 149Euro from Ignitech +plus shipping/tax)
