even riding in the pre75 25 lapper

I'll have an I.V. ready for you when you finish, or need a pit stop. ;)
25 laps plus camping at the track, you'll be shattered come Sunday arvo, all hands on deck to help Jim load up. ;D
Actually if you do what I managed 2 years ago and get lapped a few times that reduces the amount of laps you actually have to do, sitting around the fire on the Sat night I was quite proud of myself, thinking I'd managed to finish a 25 lap race after 30 years retired, that was until that pest from the south west, Grasy piped up saying I only did 22 laps because I got lapped 3 times, totally shot me down.
-
Sorry Steve,
But the Griffith Mafiosso will be there for another crack . With out THE DON (Lee) PS Jim how is your new Tiger pet going ???
-
beware--of the Velo muffler
Anonamos.
-
Thank's for the reminder Punchy, I'll call Graeme Roberts, I'm sure he'll have a muffler to spare for a good cause.
-
brett chipperfield is the one with the muffler.he brought it last year
jim
ps
bloody council has put a dent in my prep
-
No excuse Jim, you better be there, Grasy & I are looking forward to playing charades around the fire with you. :-\
If I can help with the fencing issue, let me know.
-

Jim Garvey, the Grant Kenny of Classic Dirttrack, big difference is he doesn't like Curry.
-
Any one for practice at Nepean tomorrow?

cheers pancho.
-

jim
-
Rumor has it that Ray Curtis will be riding one of L.P's bikes!
cheers pancho.
-
all changed ther is a pre 70 and the pre 75 classes added
jim
-
Now that is interesting Pancho and who is L.P?
-
Old Merrylands rider, tuner and entrant for previous major road racing events, Leo Pretti.
-
Steve( A.K.A. C3) what's this someone you don't know in the dirttrack annuals.
-
Early onset oldtimers, must be from the alcohol consumed over the weekend.
I'm on the wagon until the 4/5th, so Piney & I can steel you Corona's again while your punching out the ZZZZZ's.
Ray Curtis would have to be 75?
-
You might have to drink your own beer this year ! I think I'll do the vinduro at Bully that week-end. So Ray's about the same age as you. HA HA
-
Just thought I should allert you guy's that we have a "Virgin" camper spending the night with us on Sat night.
He's really psyched up for it so be prepared that you won't get much sleep because he is known to be a bit of a party animal.
Just don't bring any explosives or any small pets, it could get ugly. :o
-
Dont worry bring along Kelly(Mr Jnr Don's wife) to tell you dudes when to go to bed.We do have knives & concrete boots made to order. :D
-
Dave, like you I'm terrified of Ned, escpecially after last year.
Just tell her I'm bringing the "Copper Scuttle" and she'll be putty in your hands.
If not, refer to plan B.
Anthony rode really well last weekend, despite my guidence.
Honestly the only way our boy's can progress is to ride against the Guns.
Anthony is only just off the pace, he aint far off.
-
All this talk of late night drinks around the campfire is getting me excited!
I hope that someone will help me put matchy mick to bed this year!
Don't forget the cheap Port.
-
good luck with that plan ;D,solongs as we don't camp too close to the mafia(early to bed, early to ride ;)),yep tawny port locked, n loaded!!, :P
-
Good stuff, I still have one left from the last round, a real special @ $7 ;D
The thrill of the chase soon kills lack of sleep and hangovers!
-
Hey Puncho, any word on whether Ray is def riding?
Or as Billy Mac calls him, Strap.
-
My mate Fred always called him 'Monkey'
I was talking to Leo about 10 days ago and that's what Leo told me on the 'phone.
cheers pancho.
-
He's not real tall but is a nugget.
Jockey, Jock, Jock Strap, Strap.
That's my theory.
-
Ray is on the official entry list along with Billy Dillow.
I'm disappointed Ray is entered as a Merrylands rider, since when.
He was a take no prisoners competitor in his day so this could get interesting.
-
We are all priviliged this weekend because Ray is part of Short Circuit royalty.
At the first ever OZ SC titles in 57 at Talbingo NSW, he finished 2nd in the 500 & 250 classes and won the 350's.
Go "Strap"
