what are the main differences between a 84 and a 85 250 mxc

  Rear Lingage  on the rear suspenion .moved a way from the Dog bone linkage to  more like Hondas linkage ...
  change of stroke in the engine (longer)  and smaller piston size

 lots of other  smaller things

Obvious, visible difference is the fuel tank and rad shrouds.
