Not vintage, sorry.
The entry list for the upcoming KoN meeting is fast becoming the best ever.
Recently crowned OZ champ Jake Allen is a confirmed starter and I'm very pleased to say that he'll also be wearing the famous Blue Diamond of my club, Bankstown Wiley Park.
It's been 42 years since BWP were represented by the current OZ Short Circuit Champion and that just happened to be Jakes grandfather and DT legend, Bill McDonald.
The track is in it's best condition for a long time and anyone living in or near Syd should make a big effort to get there, this will be huge.
Cheers, Steve

Should be a crackerjack meeting coming up with a few more sliders expected including the rider-slider combination that owns the new track

All reports say there is a big roll-up of entries in.
Expecting big crowds
Light rain in the area should clear tomorrow morning for a sunny weekend, hope thats right, keeps the camera folk happy.

Man I'd love to come over and see this one, or even ride. Unfortunately I am pretty tied up with family business at the moment so no can do. I hope it all goes off successfully and I'm looking forward to some photos and race reports.

I don't know about the rest of you but that is some of the best racing I've seen in years and all for a the cost of a red lobster. A big thanks to the Nepean club for putting on a great event/day. C1

Only these 2 Punchy, you missed some hot racing, young Jake got a 2nd and a 3rd but missed the start in the big one & finished about 6th.

Anybody know where to get the results from the day ? :)

Luke richards riding Phil Tomlin's bikes won the big one and Chris Holder's little bro won the Junior's.
The racing was awesome and any one of the finalist's could have won the King of N.
The social side of things was awsome as well, lot's of stories around the fire inc the method of stump removal in the real early day's of Nepean's life, Gelignite.
That's where the dam in the middle came from. :o

I've just sent an email to JB to see if she can help with the full KoN results.

Cheers foss ! sounds like it was a great event :)

It was a great event Huski, in the final ,the KoN winner Luke Richards' rear tyre was howling on the blue groove and , at one time, I swear there was smoke coming of it in the speedway bend !!

Yeah, Steve I couldn't believe the temperature and pressure rise in that back wheel when ya came back in and thats only with 40 or so horses if we're lucky !!

OK ,Jan Blizzard just emailed me,
The results for the KTM KoN are on www.natsoft.com.au however , they are entered under the wrong date, 15/4/2012 not 15th 7 12, heres a link,
http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?15/04/2012.RRT,
If that doesn't work for you, go to the Natsoft site - race results- 15/4/2012
Jan has asked the site programmer to shift the results to the correct date 15/7/2012 so that may happen shortly
