Title: Shock lenghts for 1980 250

Hi, Im just wondering how long eye to eye the '79 and '80 ktm shocks are and how long they can be.

The 1980 250cc shock Lenghts

    MX  365mm   and Gs 350mm

 This was for Bilstein and Marzocchi shocks...... I cant find lengths for Ohlins????

 The Lenghts of Ohlins Shocks For The 1981
 is 417mm

 The Frame of a 1980 to the 1981 are miles apart

No they're not Den they are next to each other. ps Pete you get my mail if not agree with Den re shock lengths.

well pete here's a scenario its evo so who give's a!!!! you wan it turn on a dime??? raked out lazy?? or stock??? i know an ohlins guy that can tell,, make,, supply,, stock.. :'( :'(

Boys thanks for the info.  I just didn't want to be 100mm out or something stupid. I have a couple of options. A pair of new remote models that are made new in Sweden and one second hand pair of period Ohlins.  TM Man where is the Ohlins builder?
