Dave ; Is a lowered dt1 frame ok to be used in the Nats . my frame has been lowered 40 mm . also the swing arm is 25 mm longer the travel is still 4" . the bike is for pre 70 . 250 . Iain ???

Although I'm not Dave I reckon you'll be right Iain. It's a period modification and so long as the suspension geometry isn't changed, there's no reason to refuse it. My DT1's got all of the mods you mention and it passed Nats scrutineering muster many times. It was protested once for too much rear travel and passed that as well.

Thanks Mark , just a bit cautious after the some of the storys about whats ok and whats not . couldn't make it to the 12 Nats but 13 in Canberra is a go .

Are you still coming to CD9? I'm bringing both of my DT1's along with the Hindall and Cheney so you can have a ride and compare the difference ;).

period mods to a period frame is a o.k. you just cant mod an out of period frame to be in period. IMHO

if thats my old frame and swingarm Ian, it should be fine.

Kama Gutza I believe. It'll be great to have the event back in NSW (figuratively speaking ::) ).
I don't think we've had the Motocross Nats in this neck of the woods since The Coffs Harbour Nats in 2007 and before that Mt Kembla in '94.
