Title: homemade chain rollers.

gday ,just thought someone mite be interested in some homemade chainrollers i ve just made up .got a few old skate board wheels off  my son .first cut sides off with hacksaw to width to suit your guide width.then smooth finish sides before fitting them with bolt.these still have bearings which are great ,these rollers are on all my bikes and they spin instead of wear from chain drag .they work well.

hi geoff.mate make one in ten min .i made half a dozen .just cut thru wheel at same width as bearings put spacer on both sides and mount .the skate bearing has about 5 or6 mm hole so bolts up easy they just spin and dont wear out.great.don

you can shape them with a grinder while they are still on the truck, easy.

Thanks to both for the info, skateboard wheel idea sounds great but ima lazy bastard. Geoff will get my 16 odd bucks for one of these  ;)
