I haven't seen him on here, or at any events, for a long time.  :(

Mark is a real nice bloke and was a good mate (and business partner) of Bruce McFarland.

This is a bike Bruce did for him a number of years ago and was in one of the VMX Mags (Ken could tell you which one?), last time I seen the bike as at the Crawford River 2 years ago?? it was in very good condition then and I am sure would still be now. Only draw back to period correct, is the 82 model forks and swing arm (why we don't run the class as they do in England is beyond me ???)

Anyway I have the sister bike to this one that I take to the CD events with the Magoo number plate on the front.

Would be a good bike to purchase (Mark's bike that is).

Shane - excuse the stupidity but what class do these fit into.  I thought they were simply Evo so the forks wouldn't be a problem?

Nice bike - have been watching it also.

'82 CR250 forks don't fit into the Evo class, they're from a single shock bike.

Best thing is to forks from an Evo bike to keep it in that class. YZ465 front end is a popular mod..

Like John said.

But they will also go you for the swing-arm as well.

Stupid rule but that is what it is.

Any we are getting away from the bike. In general most clubs "overlook" the fork issue for general club racing.

I just noticed it did not meet reserve at 7600???

Imagine paying over 7G for this bike, roll up to the Nats on it and then get told you can't ride it in EVO (or pre 85 because you already have one entered).  :-X

Doesn't seem to be worth more than a couple of grand if you also have to go out and buy a YZ to butcher up for its front end.  >:(

Bit of a nothing bike really...... :-[
