The frame looks to be a Taiwanese made PDV, Champion copy but if it's an old Harry Pyne bike it's probably a real Champion. It's hard to tell from the photo but the motor looks to be an RT2MX...or at least the barrel does. As a real lover of these kind of bikes I think they look much better without a front mudguard, and I'd lose the fork boots as they give the front of the bike a heavy look, but that's just my personal opinion.
It's good to see yet another flat tracker hitting the track....the more the merrier.

You know what Firko, I was thinking to myself that it looked out of ballance, you hit the nail on the head and the front guard don't help either.
Nice bike though and it'll be good to see it turn some dirt at the Nepean charity meeting.

The flat tracker above also seems to be a bit tall but it might be the photo. It's possibly got 82-85cm (33") long forks and 13.75" shocks. I reckon forks from an RD Yamaha, 75cm long (29cm) and 12.4" shocks would bring it into the ballpark. My own 360 Yamaha Hindall tracker suffers from the same (too high) attitude and I'm currently looking for a shorter set of forks for it.

Blow the tank off and put a real champion or plastic copy on there, that YZ one too smaee and mates it all look unbalanced. same as foiko bin the guard, the forks are thet YZC ? and the gators. Other than that should be good to go !
-
I sold Niel this bike it was one of the 4 that Harry Sold me about 15 years ago.
A real Early Champion

The tank has been ditched for a gt80 one which has a straight bottom and suits the lines a bit better but it is getting the flick for one of Matcho Micks creations in the near future.
It has had the full treatment, rebore. new ignition, dyno etc and goes great, just a matter of sorting out the gearing and getting Neil to pull his finger out and get it on the track.
-
How is Neil going with the 360??
Must be finished by now.
-
All finished and ready to ride but he now talks of retirement. ::)

As much as I personally dislike the influx of of US style Flattracker. I think its its time we combine both of the framers into one class, eg - Sliders.
-
Sliders are Sliders, Framers are Framers,
The more of both the better,
One of the things the Americans do far better than us is their ability of Older former Racers sponsoring younger riders on their bikes
-
some parts of the usa they have races for longtrackers but never with the framers any more.seperate like here
