wet to sammy millers on the way to normandie there are some bikes there. saw 2 wheel drive maico (why i dont know) lots of pics all good there
off to normandie and d day celebrations all good as well had a tour of juno beach canadian part.did my own tour where my dad landed.on d day met up with ben flower pot racing had a great day.after  days in 14th cent castle now at le mont saint michel and staying on the island.off to jersy were there is a 2 day pre 1978 car and bike international show and racing.

Isn't the 2 wheel drive Maico the Dryvtech 2x2x2, 2 wheel drive & steer built by Ian Drysdale in the eighties.
I know it ended up in the uk when he eventually sold it rather than staying in oz

It seems that our Jim's bought a new holiday cottage in France. Here's a wildly excited Jim frollicking madly on the front lawn of his new digs........

   Looks to me like jim got caught out pacing out a starting grid for his new grasstrack  8)

Thart's exactly what I think every time I see a nice big green lawn.
That's about as mad as Jim's frolicking gets.

That was my first thought, Huski, but I did ask him if there were any fish in the moat.

  Yeah that'd be the go foss ! 10lb brown trout out the front door for a bit of light entertainment on a lazy day  :D

its on 800 acres and yes the moat is full of fish and the marsh is full of ducks.
its been in the 1 family for 300 years there were 14 german tanks there in ww2
the germans never stole or damaged a thing.
first built 1145 then additions in the 13th cent then the 16th cent and lastly the 19th cent

Jim, Whats the name of the castle, it looks nice, I would also like to go to england, I love history, The Maico what where they thinking and why would you bother.
