Title: Yamaha YZ125L, unfinished project.
Post by: Nathan S on June 06, 2012, 04:50:15 pm
1984 Yamaha YZ125L in mostly original, cosmetically challenged condition. Very close to being ridable (really only needs time) - could make a very cheap race bike, or could be a good project bike.

Brand new Wiseco piston kit and rebore done by Serco (top end not fitted).
Rod etc in good condition.
Has spark.
Fitted with 1984 Honda disc brake front end (has '86 wheel).
Original YZ-L front end included.
Rebuilt YZ250L shock.
Better than average fuel tank.
Alloy bars.
Reasonable tyres (front is about 70%, rear about 50%, IIRC).
Spare good plastics & seat.
Brand new UFO front guard.
Chain and sprockets in good used condition.
Very good pipe, repacked muffler.
Missing airfilter and cage.
Spare motor (barrel needs resleeving, & I think it has a crook big end).
Second spare set of YZ125L forks.

Spare YZ125K frame, forks (with new seals & boots), swingarm, pipe, side covers, fuel tank and a few other bits and pieces.

$600ono for the lot.

Located in Yass, southern NSW.
Can deliver to Canberra, Adelaide/Barossa and possibly Harrow.

Nathan.

Very close to being ridable (really only needs time)

how long do you reckon you'd have to let it sit before it'd be rideable?

Hairdo, Forever. If you shed works differently, I'm sending some bikes up.

E74, Will do. Good to know you're still around. :)
