The Heaven VMC Club is excited to announce that we are holding a Vinduro at the Crawford River Bulahdelah Complex 8)
The weekend of 4-5 August is the date. Yes only one week after Harrow but it is the only weekend that fits.
The 2 day event is non-competitive and open to all Pre85 dirt bikes. It is all about enjoying our old bikes with likeminded riders.
Camping is free (from Friday afternoon) and encouraged with toilets and hot showers. There will be a canteen ran by the local Lions club but bring your own evening meals.
More details to follow along with nomination form.
Event Recreational Licenses will available if you do not have an MA licence. The event is on private land so no road license or bike registration required. All welcome!!

Add some dilapated long drops to a paddock and all of a sudden it becomes a Complex....that'll do me ::)

Just drag that KX500 with lights up to Bulahdelah on 4-5 August and have some fun don’t make things more complex than it needs to be. ;D ;D

It would be good if it included the MX and Grass Track into the loop.
Then you could call it The Crawford River Buladelah Superplex :o

If it is firm expressions of interest being looked for?
4th and 5th of August. I'm in, 100%.
Will need someone to kick-start my bike. This ankle is starting to shit me right off. Dont need to stand on the pegs, have a seat instead 8)

Yep ;) certainly is on and nomination form out in next few days.
Open to Pre85 ish bikes. If you have a twin shock trials bike bring it along there is plenty of area to set a few sections.
Two days of riding. Non competative rides.
Plenty of fire wood, showers, free camping.
The local Lions Club will have there catering van there both days to raise money for local charities (they did a great job at the recent VMX meet).
$55 entry + $25 if you need a REC ride licence.
Mick, I think you should have had that ankle along to a doctors well before this :o

When you say pre 85ish... I have a mate who has a YZ125 that may have been manufactured in the early hours on 01/01/85. If he was to strap a headlight on this bike would he be eligible to enter??

There has been questions about headlights. We would like to encourage the full Vinduro spirit be maintained if at all possible but it is not essential that a headlight is fitted as the event is totally on the Crawford River property.

My entry form in for this one .
Rounding up a few other mates to attend as well .
Hope this event gets some support from fellow NSW riders ; esp those that have made comments in the past Re ; lack of NSW vinduro events .

This should be a great weekend. Come, relax and enjoy your old bikes.
Juniors 12-16 welcome preferrably on old bikes but not asolutely necessary - 80-125cc 2st or 85 - 150cc 4st
(Juniors must have a current MNSW Junior Competition Licence to ride) they can not purchase an event licence unfortunately
Ride both days camping from Friday afternoon for those keen enough.

Totally agree Steve, thats why events like Cookardinia and Lochmaree were organised but it seems some NSW riders won't travel south ;) ;)

Perhaps you should come to Cookardinia Steve. If you can show the same enthusiasm as you do for the Bulahdelah ride and get behind Cookardinia, it will make it a big and better ride this year... and yeah the weather will be warmer by then.

will juniors be on the vinduro course with senior riders
The MNSW permit allows juniors to be on the enduro loop with the seniors with restrictions / conditions which are not too extreme. Remember this is not racing / competition and not a closed short coarse race track like an MX track. It will all work fine and allows everyone to have an enjoyable ride. The restrictions / conditions will not impact on anyone too much and allows juniors and seniors to enjoy the weekend together. Mostly common sense stuff really.
There are age and bike restrictions so you need to check the nomination form, basically 12 - 16yrs with 85cc - 125 (2st) 150 (4st) bikes. We would preferr classic or post classic bikes for juniors but it is not essential. Juniors need to have an MA licence as they can not under the MNSW system be issued with an event licence I am afraid.
As with all meetings or rides you need to fill out seperate nomination forms for each rider senior or junior.

OK the CRC event is over for the year and our attention can turn fully to the upcoming fun event of the Bulahdelah Vinduro.
Harrow is on the week before. How good is this two Vinduros in a row 8).

As this is New for the Heaven VMX Club witch runs 9 Vintage MX events a year and know numbers BUT
But vinduro thay dont know how many are coming ..

Well the Vinduro is a goer the numbers have passed the magic number 8) So all is well for e great weekend ;D ;)
Late entries and entries on the day are welcome although pre-entries are preferred
better complete that bike and body prep and let the action begin 8)

Riders coming to Bulahdelah this weekend need to pack extra food as the local Lions Club catering van Will not be attending. You will need to bring food although Bulahdelah village is <10min away with pubs & clubs plus a supermarket etc. The numbers are lower than expected.
Numbers are still healthy for ouir first Vinduro with around 35-40 riders

Top event with a good turn out of riders and bikes.
Good spread of terrain with a good grass and moto cross tracks
Fab. course with a bit of everything. Picture book perfect weather.
Good company and video's Friday and Saturday night.

Back Home and at work to day was a Bit hard to do ..
I think it was a Good weekend all that a spoke to had a big smile on there face and said thay had fun ..
I have been told that there will be a Vinduro on a Bulahdelah next year ...
would be nice to see sume more photos ????
and would be nice to get some feed back so next years can be Better ...

It was a last minute decision to turn up on Sunday for a ride but was well worth the drive up from Sydney the track was perfect with a little of everything in it and catered for the beginer's right through to the experts. I was glad to see that the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly exactly what Vinduro's are all about. Thanks to Dennis who managed to push a wheel barrow through the bush to cut the track in I think that is a gold medal performance in it's self. look forward to the next one.

Thanks to all the riders for making it a great weekend. We all owe Dennis a very big thank you. He arrived on Wednesday afternoon taking three days out of his self-employed working week and worked like a man possessed until Sunday afternoon. He had a lot of help from several club members with special mention for Glenn and Mike and some of the riders pitched in for the final little bit of bunting. The track was Dennis’s baby and a fine job he did.
The weekend really surpassed our wildest dreams for the smiles on everyone’s face and the relaxing feeling of the whole weekend. The beautiful bikes, many faces returning to ride we have not seen for a while and laughs and bench racing as the bikes were loaded were just icing on the cake.
