Title: Wanted, new Manager for Broadford
Post by: John Orchard on May 30, 2012, 02:59:37 pm
Gentlemen, the current Manager of the State Motorcycle Sports Complex at Broadford ceases in his position as of June 1st.  So next week could see an advert for someone to fill his position, I think it would be in the best interest of VMX, and possibly the complex, that someone from here, with many years of experience in motorcycle sport, apply for the position.

I'm considering applying for the position but I might have to give up my position on the MV board if accepted.

Any of you guys interested and have a background that may suit the position?

What a shame Marty Doxey is going and not staying on, what he has achieved never looks like much to those that come and go,
but rest assured he has done a Mighty Job ,
and with massive help from his Volunteers and as usual got Burn Out with the Poltics .

Although in fairness I know he just had another Bambino, which I hope thats the main reason he has left.

I wish him well in his next Job as a DAD.

Good Luck Johhnny O and for those that apply.

Lets talk wages, if the money was right and the politic weren`t their, you could turn the place into another golf course or perhaps another Philip island type venue, and with large amount of good top soil and grass seed, so campers would have somewhere to camp where it flat.  ??? ::)

If it was in Syd I'd jump at it, unless I get divorced in the next few weeks.
Stay tuned.

Yep Marty did a good job, even though it's hard to keep all of the people happy all of the time.  Marty has brought the complex up to a new standard, it would be great if the next person can bring it up another step.

Hey John, What about that young bloke that gave you so much grief about the track condition on failbook?  I forget his name but his Dad was someone important at Honda or he was at least claiming something like that.

Surely with his worldly knowlege and experience he would be more than qualified to show us all how it's done.  And I'm certain with his wit and  diplomatic skills he could easily put the politics to bed.

Yep maybe you should call him up?  ;D
