To me this looks to be one of the worst "restored" bikes I have ever seen (he even painted the chrome fork tubes black :o)

The bidding looks suspect. Shill bidding ?
-
That's shill bidding for sure. :-\
-
no its fair bidding it must be 090 n his mates wanting to own it cause it has black rims n spokes n hubs n forks,,,, they'd be goin ape over it...all that black!!!! :D :D
-
when are you blokes gonna learn,
fork seals don't stick to black paint ;)
cute little bike though 8)

It looks like it was a nice original bike. To me it is a pity when bikes like this fall into the wrong hands. Most of his handiwork would have to be undone, obviously to the detriment of the bike as original thing. All just my opinion of course, but you only have one shot at keeping good bikes as they were from the factory.
Cheers, Grahame

there's a show on 7 mate called pawn stars there was one of these little bikes on there last week.Needed a full resto the motor was so bad they had to find another the bike was very rusty and in a very sad state.Looked like brand new after resto the bloke done a very good job and said the bike would be worth around the $5000 mark apparently even in the states these are a very very rare bike.I think the bike owed them around $3600 after purchase and resto, I think they paid somewhere around $1200 to $1500 for it.cheers.

Even the chain is painted black. No doubt the bids are as bogus as the paint job. These were shit back then so apart from the Indian name on the tank and there funny obscurity if it runs it maybe worth $750 tops and then you would really need to want one. Give me a Deckson eagle over one of these anyday.

If it’s rare and sought after then the bids may be on the basis of it being just another basket case.
For that price though I can't believe he has a reserve on it :o
-
maybe hes baseing his price on the ch7 pawn stars show which is not good for us :( >:( ???

Its been relisted and got to 2040 last time.....Someone enjoy doing the rebuild and kept them selve's busy :P

This is the same team of clowns who said there was no market for a 71 Husky 400 so thet turned it into a fugly chopper/bobber.

And then forgot to fill the fuel tank so old mate had to push it back to the shop .... but yeah it was fugly and a shame to turdinate a Husky like that.

Damn ive been restoring all mine wronge. From now on take the plastics off,rip the motor out and take off the tank and seat, then throw buckets of black paint at the rest.Slap it back together.Jobs right!! ;D

Yeah this guys got it sussed, paint everything black and don't say in your ad that nothing works cos it's covered in black paint.. Way overpriced, it'll need a proper resto starting from scratch to fix it.
I was amazed when it reached more than $2000 last time but didn't make reserve.. WTF?
