I'm running a 30mm carb on my 125c with an X barrell. I was going to try a 32mm, I think the 34mm would be too much, do you reckon the D jetting specs would be a good starting point?
-
Yes.
FWIW, My X runs a ported C barrel and the X's 34mm carb. It never feels over carbureted - midrange is much stronger than a stock C.
Don't forget the differences in the airbox to carb boot (C vs X). I think you'll need an X one for the 32m carb.
-
So you reckon use the 34mm?
-
If you can find one use a 34 Bing the VA VB Montesa 125 come with these standard, Yamaha's with reed valve can easy take 34

and if you really want your carby to match your hairdooo....
i have a 1G8 34mm sitting here at my place.
my 125C/X thang runs a 32mm jetted pretty close to "D" specs and i love it!
mine also has the "X" barrel.
