It's a 1980 PE 250
-
It is a 81. ;)
-
Nah, definitely 1980 ;D
(thanks oldskool)
-
No if you zoom in on the side shot you can see the curvy bottom frame rail so definitely 81. ;D
-
Even though the compliance plate says 1980?
I thought I threw a hint in the last post.
I picked it up this arvy........ ;D
Just checked it again, 10/1980, does that make it an early X model?
-
Exactly you can have a 1980 dated 81 model and that is what it is the 80 had straight lower frame rails and a bash plate the 81 had curvy lower frame rails and got rid of the aluminum bash plate.
-
Had another look, frame number is PE 250 - 2042**
Checked on a few sites, all say 1980 PE 250 T.
Doesn't matter, happy to have it regardless.
-
yeah good pick up for $150 but if the frame rail is curvy 81 model
80 model

Can't complain about the price, but it's painted BLACK!!
Why do kids today paint everything BLACK??
Third Suzuki I've bought in recent times that is painted BLACK??
Maybe Rolling Stone fans or Gothics? :D
Anyway, got that off my chest.................... :-[
