Title: White bros banana swing arm TT500 what year they first came out.........

I have a white bros TT500 swing arm ,did they come out pre 78 or pre 80 or not ???
I am Seeing if its legal for pre 80  for a event later this year mr moto cross.

not sure when they came out but tt500f's were the 1st with the factory fitted alloy arm so would have been before 79 at least

The similar ProFab / LOP banana arms (on which the design is based Im guessing) was catalogue listed for late 78 and appeared on the LOP RM125s part way through the 78 season. I dont think any of these arms could be pre 78 legal, Ill leave the question as to whether they are Pre80 legal to someone with better info than me.

They where in the 78 White Bros catalogue. The Pro Fab arm was a White Bros arm have both no difference

It looks like pre 80 will be ok for this swing arm ;)
I wasnt to worryed if it didnt make pre 78

Pardon my ignorance but what  is pre 80? Who runs this category. It might be the ancestral home for my 78 Husky that isn't really a match for the testosterone fueled evo's  ;D ;D

pre 80 is listed in the mr motorcross race meet, its on  later this year near newcastle NSW.
The first event was there last year.
 they have pre 80 in NZ to , its a bummer because those RM400 make it in :'(
