Title: Maico Frame Colour - powder coating

Hi , does anyone have a recommended powder coat colour for a maico spider frame?  Looking at the colour charts, dulux signal red seems about the closest thing.

Hi Stevo,

I am pretty sure that the Red framed Maico's ie; Magnums, used a paint colour called Mars Red, it is a Volkswagen colour. I believe it is not available in powdercoat. I have restored 81 490's x 3 using signal Red which is available in powdercoat. The next closest I believe is Fire Box or Fire Engine red but not completely sure. Good Luck

Thanks Ken, I am thinking Signal Red it is. There are not too many others that come close.
