Hi  Can any one tell me the inside core diameter of a DG alloy silencer for a RM 400T.

this is quite simple. if your looking for a DG silencer that is a specific fit for your RM then the ID of silencer should be the same as the OD of your pipe. so for example if your pipe od is 28 mm well the DG silencer shoule be 28mm. well actually about 29mm as its gotta have a little bit of clearance to fit on easily, you dont want it to be a hammer on press fit!

so quite easy. go measure your RM 400 pipe and that will give you an idea what the DG silencer ID for you bike should be.

Thanks LWC,  but its the core size I'm after, most of them are stepped up a size to slip over the pipe.  I have a universal DG one but I feel it may be a bit small in the core.
It's about 1mm smaller than the pipe ID and about 3mm smaller than my YZ465 one.

ive got one of those DG ones comming next week so i will see what mine is. i think its the inch and 1/8 size. i think you would want inch and 1/4 for a open class bike.

I have bitten the bullet and ordered a 1 1/4 one today hoping its bigger internally.

I have a DG muffler on my RM400 and the core id is 29mm.

Thanks Zorroz,  the one I have measures 25mm, as I thought a bit to small.
