I have for sale what I belive is a 1986 Honda CR250, I bought this bike as something to follow my 8 year old son around the paddock on but I now realise this is a serious bit of kit and not for me.
My first ride was a quick blip up the street, I shifted from 1st to 2nd and gave it a wristful and found myself looking at the sky.... suffice to say I think I will stick to road bikes
This is by no means a perfect bike, it needs some attention including a decent tune, I have replaced the plug and oil, the rear chain wear limiter is missing, there have been a few repairs to the plastics including a patch to the tank. Have a look at the pics as they show the general condition of the bike. I have been told that these bikes are now quite desireable for Vintage MX, although I have also been told 87 was the year to have as well ;)
Asking $1000 ono or will swap for a 250cc road bike.
Bike is located in Birkdale in Brisbane.
