Hey Shoey its not to late :o if you forward your application to become a Suzuki owner now , im sure we can get it fast tracked for you so you can buy one before CD 5 ;D
You can pay the joining fee at CD5 but dont forget to include 2 references from Suzuki owners ;)

You know what they say - if you've got half a mind to get a Suzuki that's all you'll need... ;D
-
Holeshot Buddy, is that an RM250E chassis with the RM500 engine? Looks trick.
-
i may be wrong but i think it is RM125 Chassis when i overheard Holeshot talking ad CD4. its a very nice bike Holeshot (for a suzuki :D)
i hate to admit it but i do have a soft spot for the RM 465/500. i rode a RM465 many years ago and loved it.
Oh, and if you want to be a suzuki club member apparently it costs 1 footpeg to join ;D
-
yeah zorroz its a 1984 125 witha 500 engine ???
it has been stroked :o
and is about 538cc
factory pipe and cylinder white power shock keihin 40 mm cresent slide
billet rear adj struts
everything new
lightened to buggery
weighs 97kg with 3 ltrs fuel 8)
pulls like a 14 year old ;D
-
In the Klub Kevlar Bunker will be the RN400 and RH250 '74s from the house of Tanner. Also the Ex Roy East Compy AJS that he rode in Europe in 58/59 and a smattering of KXs. Cant wait.

I'll just be taking the 1 bike..the TM125 bitsa :P
a bike like Firko's TM250 that typifies low buck racing ;)
the obligatory footpeg for inclusion into this elite Suzuki fraternity must be era/used but totally undamaged right side RM250C2 item ;)
-
I'm hoping to see plenty of the older Suzis - TMs, RMs, especially things like RM370s that you don't often see many of. I'll be taking the 1975 RM125M. Hope to mix with a few like bikes on the track too.

Ummm... how about a few used but undamaged TM125 pegs???
-
I'll be bringing this one....

Nice. Hey. Are you sure that's an original kickstart lever?

You did well with that old tank Chris WOW!!
-
Hey Doc,
What ever happened to the GS185 twin??? If you bring that you are sure to be the only one around. That Ram Air cooling will be perfect in the heat of battle.
Come on!!!!!

Hey holeshot, when you get time how about some more info on how you built this one. it sounds like an interesting story to be told.
-
CG..that tank was pretty good to start with..a victa fuel tap has that issue sorted but I've just got my mitts on a nice chrome isolated type that'll zippy tie to the frame downtube..the fitting was a bit of a shit but ya get that ;) cheers
:D VMX42, the GTS185ISDT replica is tucked away safely awaiting another time in my life when I am stuck in between projects with nowhere to go or when my projects run out. ;) All it really needs is the tank fixed, some wiring (about 1 million miles worth :o) a battery, a chain, some Araldite for the leaky fuel tank or swap it for some god forsaken ugly plastic tank I'm sure to have kicking around, buy a couple of pods and she's done. I wish I could bring 5 bikes but logistics says 1 will be enough. The RM400 would be my second choice..hmmmm..decisions decisions!!..and all because of you Graeme :P..you mentioned you'd like to see some big bores and mine is all but primed for an outing and i'd really like to ride it again too :-\ hmmmm..will have to think about this..maybe it'll be this one..

-
You know, I don't think I have ever seen an RM400C in the flesh... Yep, you gotta bring it along Chris.
-
yeah hoony i might put something on in the future if
anyone is interested ;D
-
I vote for the RM400C.
-
;D yeah me too AJay..I love my pre 75's and TM's nowdays but 400 has been my fav for a long time. Besides, it's having it's 30th this year so it'll make for a milestone celebration! 30 years!!! :o..wow..time flies..and it didn't kill me unlike the saleman cum lowly delivery person reckoned it would..I didn't kill it either so double celebration ::)
Bahnsy, are you not taking a 400C also?
-
yeah hoony i might put something on in the future if
anyone is interested ;D
do it, i'm interested !
-
my guess Doc is that the track will be more suited to the big bore machinery so the 400 will be garunteed fun while the 125 could be a gamble.
-
Cant Be Docs bike... No Go The Rat Sticker ;D
Nice bike mate, bloody niiiiice!
-
yeah thanks Pokey, but but I was sure there was an appropriate rat sticker placed somewhere!! :o
:P oh that's right..it has a Go The Rat crossbar pad that's not visable in the pic..even a VMX sticker on the rear guard..has to be good for some brownie points ;D oh..an it has a ficticious number being E34..go the Valiant!! :D
I replaced the front wheel for the stock item on the big banger last night, was cleaning up the rear this arv but she has 4 or 5 spoken brokes (LATE EDIT: make that 8 spokes..see wanted ad in Suzuki ::))and a bald sprocket ::) will run with the DR rear if I have to but I'll try and get her 99% box stock for the occassion :) Vandy I'm expecting the track will be fantatic on anything and I do have serious fun on the 125's..I've not ridden anything but the little blappers for the past few years and I'd love to take both!
-
count me in too.... :)
yeah hoony i might put something on in the future if
anyone is interested ;D
do it, i'm interested !
-
did somebody say track suits big bores MMMMMMMMMMM :P
once i work out how to post decent photos i will do something ;D
-
Yep I'll be there with me DRM ..... first time out :) tank is off being painted and should be able to show a pic on the 12th ;)
-
just a couple of rm125 suzuki's, rm125m, rm125s,rm125n, rm125x and doc's rm400c and his trusty tm125.

Just to interrupt for a moment........I rode around the track last Sunday and it's pretty tight in parts and overall I wouldn't exactly call it a big-bore track. They are widening some sections this coming weekend but it still won't have any mammoth uphill sections or mile-long straights.

-
Sounding better'n better... I can see the Suzis putting on a great show, very fitting with Joel there, eh? Looking forward to a nice display of Pre 78 RMs and TMs. Oh yeah, and RHs too!
