As the title says I'm looking for advice on a suitable 3.50x18 tire for my Suzuki TM125.
I'm currently running Bridgestone 403/404 tires and love them, the only problem is they only seem to make the rear in a 100/100.
Even with a bit of motor work the rear tire is a bit to big and grippy, especially off the start.
I'd like to keep the front and rear tires matched (brand, model etc) as I've found more confidence in having them this way.
Any advice appreciated

I'll be very happy if anyone can tell me of good 3.50s. All I've been able to find was the real cheapies.
Even 100/100x18s are getting harder to find - less and less shops are stocking them, and there are fewer models of tyres being made in that size.

Brent,
i ran a Chen Shin 3.50 x 18 on the back of my pre~75 125 for a long time and was very happy with it.
it seemed easy enough to get at the time although that was a few years back now.
i'm currently running a Deli Tyre 100/100 x 18 and as you say, the starts are crucial.

The ol Chen Shin would last 6 yrs plus in Unzuds lush top soil, ran mine for about 6-7 yrs.

mines still in pretty good nick too. it just got demoted to the DT100 only because the edges were starting to round off a bit.
a good tyre ;)

I've got a 400 x 18 Mitroc Fortune on my RM125B; it retails for only $65, love it.

I bought a set of Rinaldi RMX35 tires to try out the other day they look like the old Pirelli mt32. Darcy

Try your local Yamaha dealer for the OEM rear from an AG100 ;) sadly they only have a 19inch front.

Seem to remember being told that shinko make a tyre either off the original super digger mould or do a very close copy if that helps

I'd forgotten about SHINKOs.
My mate up here runs them and they seem to work well. I think he got his last set from NZ the last time he went back.
