he has my 2 valve over there so any parts from a cable to a back wheel, frame or motor would help any....  im agine what street cred you would have getting on a plan with a rear speedway wheel in your lap and a SGP t shirt on  !.  you might even get a free upgrade .....  :O)

I know a few of the guys are goingover for the J.O have no idea where it is in relation to Aukland track...  Just throwing it out there incase any one can assist.

well i hear its just waiting on the nod, some folks are going over to NZ to check the concept vs coinage.   so anything is possible and it would help out the NZ sgp cause 2 rounds over this side of the globe makes the team numebrs stack up, ( plus i think there i some rounds in the same place 2twice currently and they want to open it up...

youd have to get at least 20k minimum so your half way there, i know  a lot of people from AU going over so you well on the way, plus all the speedway tragic who travel the world.   you just need to get the local behind it,  i recon it will go mental.  whish i was going...

Here's hoping they can get 40,000 spectators.Given the current economic climate I fear it is a big ask.
Shame I will miss it given I live five minutes away.
It would have great to catch up with you Aussie guys and have a cold beverage with Bazza.
But the weather forecast is looking good for the Johnny Old,and I would much rather be riding than watching, especially while the body allows me ;).
Have fun guys.

Fingers crossed it happens again next year. :D

Just got my ticket holder info for the SGP. It prohibits from the stadium, among other things, fireworks, gang paraphernalia and weapons. What is going on over there Bazza? How are we supposed to enjoy ourselves. New Zealand's never been the same since I left. ;D

I watched it on Speed, Hancock was on fire. Crumpy was a little off the pace of Hancock and Gollob in the heats.

Alison, Tomasz Gollob is Polish, he won the title in 2010 after about 15 years of trying.
Good to see all the older blokes setting the pace.
I haven't seen any of the racing but by the sounds of it, Crumpy will be happy with that result.
Holder had a tough night.
Speedway is one of those sports where you only need to be slightly off the pace and you're no hope.

Crumpy off,Thomas gollob 3rd highest points but not on podium missed final, that guy can ride. 1 race mid event swapped lead over and over a stunner. estimate 30,000 and 6,000 Auzies who were all saying they will return next year, and most important the yellow dance girl was hot. Found a pub with good band for a beer with AJ and Yamaico and other Auzies after the event, great night.

Yep the Yellow Wiggle got the nod in a quality field from the boys at turn one.  ;D

Was an awesome event. We had grandstand seats that were crap. So we stood on the fence at turn one for the entire event.  It was just like the old days at the Ekka/Royale, getting sprayed with dirt every lap  ;D Tip for next year. Forget Grandstand and get GA tickets and arrive early for a spot at the front.

If it is on again next year I will be doing all I can to get here. There are 76 people in our tour group. I reckon that number will be over 100 next time.

Cheers
Shaun
