Gday all,
I stumpled across this pic and wondered if anyone knows any info on this bike.
It looks like a 80's T model 125 with 79 N model graphics and an 81 water cooled engine??????????????
Any suggestions??

The RA125 1980 was twin shock water cooled in the All Japan Championship they had the Full Floater already. I wonder if Harry was happy with the twin shock as 81 production RM was water cooled full floater.

It's a '79 factory Suzuki... they were several years ahead of production bikes.

NIce unit, still have the hope that the stars will align one day and a factory bike will be available to me for a reasonable rate of coin.

The day before the Hangtown National MX they run an amateur day and there is a single gate for "Vintage" bikes. There are really no written rules or scrutineering, it's all for fun. A few years back a guy showed up with an '81 RM125 that had been converted to twin-shock. It was meant to be a replica of this factory bike and it was pretty cool looking! I'll see if I have any pics of it somewhere.

Harry only rode twin shock 125's, water cooling preceded the production RM by a year.

That's a '79 RA125... the watercooled RM125X production bike came out in '81.

I love that '79 RA. Trick bike or what! And Harry's '81 RA looks a lot like the production 84 model.

Yeah that '81 RA is years ahead of the RM125X.. they were such trick bikes.
