Title: 1989 YZ250 numbers

Hi guys I am looking at getting myself a 1989 YZ250. I obviously want to make sure I get the right model, so want to make sure my information regarding frame numbers and engine numbers is correct.
Can you guys confirm for a 1989  YZ250 the frame number will be JYA3JEWC8KA00XXXX 
And an engine number 3JE-00

Is there anything in particular I need to look at when purchasing this model.

3JE is definately 1989 YZ250W

Any Yamaha dealer should be able to tell you.

This is correct! I have two of them! One is for sale too  ;)
