Title: Sea v Tree Change?
Post by: Curly3 on March 02, 2012, 06:36:48 pm
Every day I feel like I'm falling deeper into the Abyss that Sydney has become.
I'm dreaming of a move out of Syd, may take a few years to arrange but I'm thinking of somewhere in country or coastal NSW.
The leader of the opposition doesn't know what I'm planning yet so keep it quiet but as long as I'm out of Syd.
My #1 priority is that I end up somewhere that has a thriving Dirt Track venue & club, so I can continue to enjoy my passion, I've got at least a dozen bikes I need to restore before I shuffle off.
Any thoughts, Steve

P.S. I'm a True Blue, I'm not crossing no borders.

Slides, when i was still racing short circuit I wanted to move to Griffith. Great climate, race track(the best i.m.o.) friendly people, country town etc. etc. I live in the Yarra Valley which is beautiful but  short circuit/dirt track doesn,t really happen down here in Vic anymore :( My trips to  the  N.S.W. country towns like Griffith, Young, Temora, West Wyalong, Narrenderra etc. were highlights when I was racing . Great memories

Askew,

What about the mid north coast more precise Coffs Harbour. That way piney and myself can catch up when were in town as both our fathers live there.

Curly

P.S. I'm on the 3-4 year plan to move to coffs. Youngest will be finished school.

Coff's sounds pretty good Curly.
If I had $3mil I'd be there tomorrow Jim and I'd put a Speedway track down.
Have to start buying Lotto.

Why $3 mil ? What you want to live next to Russell or something ! You can buy a really nice 3-4 bedroom on 1/4 acre in sawtell for 5-600 thou.

Move up to Maryborough Qld and get amoungst it at Action Park.

More Blues & Kiwi's here than Queenslanders these days anyway, they even play AFL up here now (wtf!)

Cheers,
Steve

Griffith is the go mate, but that area around the Terrace sure is nice.
