may be maico or early leading axle ceriani forks try 1975
-
Whats the date stamp and manufacturer on the rim Blacky?
-
Not Maico..
-
look like ceriani forks to me possibly ktm
very good forks
-
look like late 76 /77 KTM MC forks but it's not a KTM wheel it might be a CCM front end as they used the same fork.
-
Above the axle they look like KTM Cerianis but below they are not. KTMs have the two Allen pinch bolts. KTM went to Marzocchi forks late 77. CCM also used leading axle Marzocchis. My guess is they are Cherries on a slightly later Italian model of some description.

Im picking them up tomorrow so hopefully there will be some identifing marks on them , will report back .

Bill was thinking Hercules Wankell but leaning more towards Aspes. Good Italian stock like the lovely Val.
