Lozza, looks like I will be going down that road, making up a shoulder to take the cup washer and O/ring only ......some thing similar to RM 250/ 400 T set up
Luke , thanks I spotted those, but they need to match up with this silly thrust washer set up.
They run a cup washer of which has a neddle roller thrust bearing and a flat thrust washer that the TA 202825 rolls against of which stops side movement... to me over kill ::) ::)

Those thrust washers are a pain, although with a bit of thought (and lathe work), I'm sure you'll be able to come up with a alternate set up, perhaps a bronze bush configuation?
If my memory is correct, common standard needle bearings are available from bearing shops in the same OD and ID but shorter in length, if you go down this path, you need to make the spacer between them that's a bit longer to compensate.
Don't know if this helps?

Yep you have it spot on Pete common bearing size is 5 mm shorter being a TA 202820 which is NFG
Intent on making something Saturady Arvo along the lines on my previous post.
Catch up with you and Ed Sunday ;)

That's the suckers ..... never mind I'll build my own ;)

Why did we go for needle bearings on the swingarm again. I would say bronze bushes and grease nipples would be quite suitable.
