Very happy today got the clutch cable on and I thought hmm I can start this but I wasn't going to I had ridden my wr360 to the shed and had no one to film it, but then mum and dad showed up so I got dad to film it.
It started to run a touch rich after the oil pump kicked in I put some premix in but I am sure the auto lube is working.
I have grown a lot since I last rode it and I look like a giant on it but I felt like a little kid again on it brang back some memories it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding but it is a great little bike and it was able to move me along. ;D

So there is bugger all needed waiting on the battery and the steering bolt it is getting chromed and just need the cable stay for the front brake/speedo so nearly fully finished, thanks Michael.

Good one Frosty! I was starting to get a bit worried that it wasn't going to start but the 15th kick was the charm! :D That first ride feeling can't be beat.
-
Haha yeah I knew it had spark found that out the hard way had a hold of the lead and kicked it. ;D
I am a bit to big for it now though ::) when dad said don't go far I thought I don't where he was thinking I was going to ride too.
It is funny to kick something over that is so easy to kick over I can't kick that softly any more after years of big bores.
I have a novelty motorbike sized GT80A number plate coming for it battery is ordered from battery world and I have done a grand total of a hundred metres after all the time I have pushed it about the shed and that 30m ride.

Dad is saying Biscuit that is my mates the original owners nick name I thought I better record its first start for him.

I just bought a pe400 nos rear guard for a lot of $$$ so just need the headlight plastics to complete my nos plastics for the 82 PE 400 which is nearly going to get started going to be mint going to probably cost a lot too.
Also got a 76 rd250 I have got the tank etc resprayed and a datsun 240z soon to do up to many projects not enough time.
I find you have to attack one at a time but I have a pe parts stash and they can't really be confused with yamaha rd or datsun parts so I might be able to do a few at once, thanks Michael.
