Title: Ceriani Forks
Post by: Colin Jay on March 20, 2008, 01:58:02 pm
G'Day all,

I am in the process of fitting a set of Ceriani 35mm, 9" travel,  "straight axle" forks into one of my 1976 XT500 Yamaha's that I am building up as a VMX / Vinduro bike.  The seals in them are knackered, and I have just gotten a new set, but can find no information anywhere on how much oil should be in each leg. Is the anyone out there that knows the correct amount of oil?

The forks are about 1978 - 79 vintage, my brother had them fitted to his Suzuki PE250 for a few years back then after trashing the Suzuki front end in a major get off.

Thanks for you time,
CJ

Thanks YSS, I will now have one more job to do in the shed over Easter, the wife isn't going to like it as she has her own list of things for me to do this Easter.
