Title: 1984 KX500 Chain guard

  Can anyone help me  please, I am trying to source a countershaft chain guard for my 84 kx500, cant seem to find any. I have tried to manufacture one myself,but as it turns out (looks s#*t).It has been said that some of the later models will fit (85/86) but I cant substantiate this.Any help would be most appreciated..thanks

Yes I think an 83/84/85/86 model will work. Also fits the 250. Keep an eye on ebay as there is a guy in sydney that makes really good copies. I have one on my 250.

Yep, Stevo is right. The 87 model (125/250/500) will also fit. Even the 83/84/85/86/87 KDX200's were the same. The 88 will not fit.

The guy in Sydney that makes them is called Frank Skerlic. He was selling them for a very reasonable $50.
If anyone has his number (the number I have seems disconnected) then please throw it my way as I also need another one from him for my 83 250.
