Title: '85 RM250 Questions

Looking at buying a '85 rm250 off a local guy. While i know this bike isnt pre '85 legal, just wanted to know the differences between it and the 84 model. Visually the only difference i can see is the addition of the front disc brake in 85. Also any pro's and con's of the 85 model i should know about.

basically main differance is the discfront end
even though it is the same as a 84 honda cr250
this model didnt have any major issues just rear shock
mainly because of age of bike now
very nice handling bike ;)

Thanks for that. If it was pre '85 legal i would snap it up in a second. The only thing that is holding me back is having a bike that i cant race.

I noticed in the rulebook that an 85 could race in pre '85 if it remains unchanged from the 84. im assuming a disc front end is too big of a change to make it legal?
