Title: Info required for Yamaha IT forks.
Post by: mudguard on February 05, 2012, 08:38:11 pm
Just need the correct info for the following questions?

Was there a 1977 model IT 175?
If so, are the forks for the 175, the same forks on the 250 & 400 for 1977 models?
What is the total length of the forks and are they 36mm diameter?
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

My 1977 it 175 Forks   are 36mm.   900mm overall  820mm from the axle to

the top of the Fork leg..

not sure what sizes 250 400 have on them.. .

Thanks, the stig. That info will help.

So does anyone know if the forks for the 1977 IT250 & 400 are the same as the IT175?
Where are the IT guru's when you need them?  :D

IT250/400D forks are 36mm.
I think they're longer overall than the 175 forks, and may have different lower legs, but wouldn't bet money on it.
