Title: Long term plastic tank storage
Post by: zorroz on February 04, 2012, 07:41:38 pm
I want to prevent the dreaded dry rot in my plastic tanks. Some people leave fuel in them but the fuel breaks down after a period of time and leave sludge in the bottom. Or flush fuel every few months in the tank?

I agree, keep the tank out of the UV rays in a dark part of the shed. Keeping it full of water may help.
