I bought a bottom end on american ebay for $36 without asking for a postage price first. (mistake)
and now the guy says its gona cost $184 shipping! i was not expecting that!
he says the box is 12" x 12" x 10" and weighs 41 pounds.
Anyone have any ideas on how to ship it cheap? I dont care how long it takes.
The guy is in "Itasca, IL, United States"

I checked the online postage calculator for a 12 x 12 x10 container weighing 41lbs

You could get it shipped to DDR or Shoreline on the west coast to be put in one of their containers to Oz but doubt if it'll end up any cheaper.

I've paid $80 USD to to ship a motor from the East to West coast of the US. It does take some of the celebration out of it when the shipping is way more than the winning bid.
:(

I payed $260 to get a Hodaka bottom end from the east coast of the US aprox 5 months ago via USPS. It took 14 days to get here. Darcy

thanks for the replies guys.
Just pissed me off a bit.
i spose its not too bad he claims its in good nic so a bit over $200 for a good bottom end isint too bad. I thought shipping was going to be around $100 - $120.
I really should have just bought nathan's YZ C model stuff.

ddr was going to charge me $150 for a complete rm 80 engine last year .cheers.
