Title: clutch question
Post by: Sammundo on January 16, 2012, 07:34:36 pm
Hi. I've just bought a 1979 yz 125 off ebay. all seam good with it except the clutch which i new about when i purchased. I'm quiet new to taking bikes apart and don't yet have a full understanding off how even some of the simpler things work so bear with me.
I've just taken the clutch apart and theres 4 clutch plates and 2 friction plates?this cant be right can it? I'm hunting for a manual to download but no joy yet so thought id ask here?
thanks in advance

My original manual shows 5 steel clutch plates and 6 friction plates but someone way-back-when has amended it to 5 and 4.
Let me know if you want the manual?
