Title: pe175 engine no,query

hi i have pe175 with engine no 212296 ,cant find it on alpha .com.it has extra frame guards under clutch and ignition  side.any help would be good.

Are they welded on to the frame?

yes they are welded on as part of frame to protect engine sides .

If it's a twinshock, non-linkage bike, i'm guessing it's an 81 model.

I'm with Mainline..I reckon it's a PE175X '81 model ;)

Yup PE175X...i just checked my old post with rego papers,mine was 212032.....if it has an engine mount casting at the bottom next to the oil drain,it will be a floater Z model
