You know, sometimes it really does pay to read an old magazine from cover to cover...

I was reading the June 1976 Popular cycling, when I came across this letter to the editor...

I wonder how much ribbing he copped from his mates after this letter was published?   ::)

Time will tell on that Hannah character... it's only been 35 years. Too soon to tell...  :D

I agree with Mr Shaaf....how dare they pick a no-name blow in like Bob Hannah when household names like John Leak, Randy Richardson and the great Bob Rutter missed out on that elusive factory ride. History proved that Hannah got the ride purely because he lived in California and was shown to be a dud while the other three reached the top of the sport purely on their abundant talent. ::)
