Title: Reed petals needed to suit my Hercules.

The petals measure  48mm long
                            33mm high.
                            Dual stage, 3 holes per side.
Anyone got something I can adapt? The block is non-original so maybe someone can identify it?

jeez they look close to 1986 CR250, i will have to measure and get back to you.   

Sorry Paul, similar look but different dimensions the 86' CR250 Honda is 47mm high x 64mm long (across)

No worries Hoony. KB thought Early CR would go too but they are 10mm wider.
I think its a Gem reed too Husky but I dont know which.

I have carbon petal material that I make to a sample, if you sent me the cage I would mod that also.

I had a GEM reed block on a '74 CR250 elsinore and i used a late 70's complete YZ80 reed cage and boyesen petals which bolted straight up to the GEM housing and was much less restrictive than the standard 2 row 12 petal GEM setup.

Good idea but KB measured his CR-M reeds for me and they were about 10mm wider. Still, I'll follow up on the idea.

I used the complete YZ80 cage and threw the GEM one in the bin. Have a look into the intake and see how restrictive the GEM one is compared to later stuff!

About '78/'79 i think mate.. i just went through a heap of them at the wreckers and found one that fitted.
